The Axis of Movement Dance Company is just for you! This competitive and performance based company is for the motivated dancer aiming towards excellence in their dance career.
The focus is to produce highly-trained dancers, with an emphasis on technique, performance, competitions, and further professional development of the overall dancer.
Our dancers are trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, Pilates Mat/Reformer/Apparatus, and take additional classes and privates to help them gain a competitive edge. Dancers perform throughout the community and compete in various Dance Competitions throughout the Denver Metro Area.
Within the Axis of Movement Dance Company, active student involvement is expected in all aspects of performance and competitions, which include community outreach, such as the 4th at Firestone, Dacono Centennial Birthday Celebration, Miner's Day Celebration, Manhattan Dance Project, National Dance Week, the AOM December Gala, the AOM Showcase, and more.
 Open Competitive Dance Auditions - September 9, 2011
Axis Of Movement Dance Company Auditions for the 2011-2012 season are open to dancers 6 years and older. Auditioning Dancers may choose 2 Intermediate/Advanced Dance Classes to participate in: Dancers will be evaluated on attitude, technique, and willingness to learn and perform. All dancers must be dressed in dance attire and be prepared to dance ballet, hip-hop, jazz/lyrical, and/or tap choreography.
Once auditions are completed, the Directors will place dancers in the recommended dance classes for the year according to ability, skill, and maturity level. Placement for dances in the Axis Dance Company will be recommended at that time.

The Axis Dance Company Booster Club, a non-profit organization, has been established to offset fees associated with performances and competitions related to The Axis of Movement Dance Company members.
