Axis of Movement offers professional instruction in ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, tap, ballroom workshops, Pilates, Yoga, specialty workshops and more for children ages infant through adults.

We offer an array of professional massage therapies and emotional balancing with Bach Flower Essences.

All of our teachers and therapists have completed rigorous hours of training in their specific fields and are First Aid and CPR certified. Each teacher and therapist brings their own individual flair and personality to their work giving you a one-of-a-kind experience.

Axis of Movement is located in the Miners Square Building at 5th and Oak St. on the second floor, downtown Frederick, in Colorado. The facility is equipped with state of the art studios that introduce children's through adult dance, Pilates Mat, and Yoga classes, massage therapy, and a fully equipped Pilates studio.

Additional features include sprung hardwood floors, retail store, and ample parking. We are one of the few studios in the state of Colorado that offers online class and appointment registration.

Our retail store contains dance and fitness apparel, gifts, and more, including brands such as Body Wrappers, Danskin, Funky Diva, MotionWear, and WE Pilates.

Fall Registration

Begins July 14th-August 20th, 2008

Register for classes or appointments anytime during our normal summer office hours which continue now through Saturday, August 9th. Our office will be OPEN for Fall registration MTW, August 11th-13th from 10:00am-1:00pm and MTW, August 18th-20th from 10:00am-6:00pm. After August 20th, registration for dance classes will be taken upon a space available basis.

Please welcome Lora Northcutt to our staff. She'll teach on Thursday evenings this fall, incorporating her many talents in jazz, hip-hop, and TAP!

Dancers enrolled in Fall/Winter classes have the option to participate in our December Dance Gala scheduled for December 13th. Dancers who are enrolled during the Winter/Spring session, through the rest of the school year, will participate in our Showcase scheduled for June 6th, 2009. More information about both these events to be handed out in class as the dates become closer.
